Traditional honky-tonk on Lower Broadway with no cover and the $6 Recession Special. All ages until 6 PM, 21+ after.
The purple honky-tonk with three floors, three stages and a rooftop. Bookable VIP sections fit crews of 8, 20 or 40.
Fried chicken biscuits in The Gulch. Order at the register, no reservations; arrive near the 7 AM opening on weekends.
Instruments, stage costumes and recordings in the Sing Me Back Home exhibition. Each person can book their own entry.
The Mother Church of Country Music. The self-guided tour includes an intro film and, when available, a photo on the stage.
The live country show, usually on stage Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights at 7 PM. About 7 miles from downtown, so plan rides.
Six vintage bowling lanes, a full kitchen and dipping pools. Up to seven bowlers per lane; groups of 16 or fewer can book online.
Nashville is the bachelorette weekend everyone pictures: neon on Broadway, live bands at noon and a crew in matching boots. It is also very easy to get wrong. Spend the whole trip on Lower Broadway and you will pay for loud rooftops and long lines while missing the parts of Music City that make the weekend feel special. This plan keeps one big night downtown, adds the landmarks the bride will actually remember, and leaves room for brunch, a nap and a proper send-off.
Best time to go: Spring (April and May) and fall (September and October) bring warm evenings without peak-summer heat. Avoid CMA Fest weekend unless the bride wants it, because the festival takes over downtown from June 10 to 13, 2027 and hotel prices climb with it.
Where to stay as a group: For six or more, a whole-home rental in a neighbourhood like East Nashville or Germantown gives you one kitchen, one living room for getting ready and one place to regroup. Smaller crews often do better with a block of hotel rooms in The Gulch or downtown, where you can walk to dinner and back. Either way, put everyone in one booking so nobody is stranded across town at 1 AM.
Splitting costs: Decide up front what is shared (the rental, the bowling lanes, any VIP section) and what each person covers (show tickets, drinks, their own meals). Have each person buy their own museum and Opry tickets with their own card, and let one organiser pay for shared bookings and settle up after.

Early dinner: Hattie B's Hot Chicken (112 19th Ave S, Midtown)
Start with the Nashville rite of passage. Hattie B's serves hot chicken in heat levels that run from Southern (no heat) all the way to "Shut the Cluck Up," so the spice-averse and the show-offs can share a table. Order the pimento mac and cheese and banana pudding for the middle of the table.
Crew Logistics:
The big night out: Robert's Western World (416 Broadway)
Skip the celebrity-branded mega bars for your first stop and head to the honky-tonk that still plays traditional country. There is no cover charge, the house band passes a tip bucket, and the famous Recession Special (a fried bologna sandwich, chips, a MoonPie and a PBR) is listed at $6 on Robert's own site.
The Vibe: Boots on a small dance floor and house bands playing traditional country and western swing.
Crew Logistics: Robert's is all ages until 6 PM and 21 and up after that, so make sure everyone has ID. Tip the band each time the bucket comes round.
Next door: Tootsie's Orchid Lounge (422 Broadway)
A few doors down, the famous purple building has been a country music hangout since 1960, and today it runs three floors and three stages, topped by an open-air rooftop. It is one of the busiest bars on Broadway, which is why Tootsie's sells VIP sections for groups: up to 8 people on the first floor, 20 on the second and 40 on the rooftop. For a big crew, a reserved section means your own bartender, a home base and no shouting across the room to find each other.
Brunch: Biscuit Love (316 11th Ave S, The Gulch)
Recovery starts with a fried chicken biscuit. Biscuit Love opens daily from 7 AM to 3 PM and takes no reservations. You order at the register, get a table number and they seat you when a table is free. Weekend lines are real at the Gulch location, so arrive close to opening. If the line is out the door, the Hillsboro Village location (2001 Belcourt Ave) is usually calmer.
Afternoon: Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum (222 Rep. John Lewis Way S)
Even non-country fans get pulled in here. The permanent exhibition, Sing Me Back Home, walks through instruments, stage costumes and recordings from the genre's beginnings to today. Entry tickets on Tiqets start at $31.95, so each person can book their own.
Then: Ryman Auditorium (116 Rep. John Lewis Way N)
A short walk north, the "Mother Church of Country Music" was the Opry's home for decades. The self-guided tour (from $36.68 on Tiqets) includes an intro film and, when the schedule allows, a souvenir photo on the Ryman stage. A photo of the bride under those stage lights beats any sash.
Evening: Grand Ole Opry (Opry House, 600 Opry Mills Drive)
The Opry is the live radio show that made country music famous, and it is still on stage most Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights. Each show features a lineup of several artists, from longtime Opry members to newer names. Standard seating starts at $59.27 on Tiqets. The Opry House sits next to Opry Mills, about 7 miles from downtown, so book rideshares ahead or have one designated driver use the free Opry Mills parking.
Crew Logistics:
Estimate only, based on $150–$350 per person per day for food, local transport, activities and a shared stay. Flights not included; real prices vary by season.
Pinewood (33 Peabody St, Rolling Mill Hill)
End the weekend somewhere you can actually talk. Pinewood (also known as Pinewood Social) has six vintage bowling lanes rescued from a 1950s Indiana alley, a full kitchen and two dipping pools on the patio. Each lane fits up to seven bowlers, and a 90-minute lane runs $90 from Friday to Sunday, so a full lane split seven ways works out to under $13 each.
Crew Logistics:
Nashville rewards a crew that plans a little and leaves room for the unplanned: the band that plays her favourite song, the extra round of biscuits, the rooftop at sunset. Build the bones of the weekend together and the rest takes care of itself.
Plan on roughly 150 to 350 USD per person per day, depending on lodging and how much of the night is spent at bars. Fixed costs like Country Music Hall of Fame entry (from 31.95 USD), the Ryman self-guided tour (from 36.68 USD) and Opry standard seating (from 59.27 USD) are easy to budget ahead.
Groups of six or more usually do best with one whole-home rental in a neighbourhood like East Nashville or Germantown, so everyone gets ready in one place. Smaller crews can book a block of hotel rooms in The Gulch or downtown and walk to dinner and Broadway.
Yes. Tootsie's Orchid Lounge sells VIP sections for groups: up to 8 people on the first floor, 20 on the second and 40 on the rooftop, with your own bartender. Robert's Western World has no cover charge, which makes it an easy, free first stop before the VIP section.
Spring (April and May) and fall (September and October) have warm evenings without peak summer heat. CMA Fest takes over downtown from June 10 to 13, 2027, so avoid that weekend unless the festival is part of the plan.
Agree up front on what is shared, such as the rental, bowling lanes or a VIP section, and what each person pays, such as show tickets and drinks. Let each person book their own museum and Opry tickets, and have one organiser pay shared bookings and settle up afterwards.
